Ellen is a:

Chief Executive Officer

Ellen is the CEO of GIS Analytic & Conservation Communication Services. With sixteen years of conservation experience and education, she implements GIS and communications solutions for clients supporting conservation and sustainability outcomes. Ellen earned three Master degrees from Unity Environmental University: Environmental Geographic Information Science (GIScience), Wildlife Conservation and Management, and Environmental Studies and Sustainability. She is an intrepid traveler, and has visited forty-seven of the United States and thirty-seven different countries.

Researcher

To attain business goals, Ellen analyzes GPS and ArcGIS PRO data in accordance with the business needs and plans for projects and deliverables. This includes data collection, data analysis, and preparation of associated technical reports, as well as, transforming final reports into journal article submissions and conference presentations disseminating knowledge regarding conservation and sustainability.

Digital & Social Media Content Creator

In addition, Ellen builds social media profiles for organizations, uses surveys to increase  membership, and provides client outreach.  Furthermore, Ellen works with audiobook editing. She is an experienced communicator with ArcGIS PRO and MS Office, Word Doc, and Powerpoint, SurveyMonkey, Google Forms, and Google Docs to shape a sustainable future for the planet through successful stakeholder engagement. Ellen also volunteers for the Saola Foundation as its Social Media Coordinator, and volunteers for the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre as its North American Coordinator. 

Leader

Ellen is a Division Director, a Toastmasters Leader managing 20 Corporate and Community Chapters in the Houston Area. She wears multiple hats to lead and promote the organization across the States and Internationally. Ellen is a public speaker and a coordinator hosting events with larger groups. She also speaks professionally for several wildlife and conservation organizations while facilitating solutions-minded thinking focused on environmental health and safety to protect business investments and the environment.
